PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU MEASURE YOU CAGE ACCURATELY BEFORE ORDERING. ALL LINERS ARE CUSTOM MADE AND MADE TO THE SIZE YOU REQUEST. THEY CANNOT BE RETURNED IF I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE WRONG MEASUREMENTS.
Cage liners are made from two layers of fleece with a layer of polyester wadding in the middle. I always make them slightly larger than the size stated to allow for any shrinkage when washed. You need to have an absorbent layer underneath the cage liner. I use washable incontinence bad protectors designed for humans ( I get mine from Amazon) but you can use newspaper, puppy pads or old towels. Cage liners should be changed daily - simply gather up all four corners, and shake off any poo and hay, and then hang the liner up to air. Wash as necessary at 30 degrees using NON - BIOLOGICAL washing powder/liquid, and NO fabric softener. Then replace with a clean/dry liner. Change and wash the absorbent layer underneath as often as required. I wash my liners every other day, but it will depend on how many pigs you have and how long they are in their cage for as to how often you need to wash them ( for instance in the summer if the pigs are outside in their run, they won't be in their cage so often, so the liner won't be so grubby.) Always make sure that the liners are fully dry before puting them back in the cage. NEVER use damp bedding of any type for pigs, as it can make them very ill very quickly. If the size of the liner you require is not listed, just email me or message me on the Facebook page and I'll give you a quote and add the size you require to the shop for purchase. Nikki :-) x
In order to keep your washing machine free from hay and hair, and to prevent it from clogging up, I also recommend using a Petwear Washbag which are available in the Snoozie's Cozie shop.
Fantastic products (better than shop bought products) and excellent service. Would use again and highly recommend

ABOUT SNOOZIE'S COZIES
Welcome to Snoozie's Cozies. I make a range of fleece bedding and cage accessories for guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, hedgehogs and other small pets. Named after one of my wee Russian Dwarf hamsters Snoozie, Snoozie's Cozies started as a bit of an accidental business back in 2012. I owned a small animal boarding business at the time and also fostered poorly guinea pigs for my local guinea pig rescue. Once they recovered, they were supposed to go off to their new homes - though I ended up keeping most of them!! One piggy (Phoenix) was extremely unwell when he arrived and I needed something for him to snuggle up in, so I made my first Snoozie Cozie. Boarding customers were following Phoenix' story on Facebook, and saw him in his cozie and asked me to make them for their pigs too. Soon their friends were asking for them, and so Snoozie's Cozies was born. I now send my cozies all over the world. And all because of wee Phoenix - who lived out the rest of his life with me (of course!)
I currently have seven pigs who all live togther in the house with us, and have had 23 in total ( so far!) I've done a rodentology course with the Cambridge Cavy Trust, and I'm very keen on guinea pig welfare, so I will not make anything that will harm them (which is why I won't make waterproof cage liners for instance)
The piggy in the Snoozie's Cozies logo is Hamish, who was owned by a friend of mine. He was three days old at the time and is modelling a Hamster Cozie
I do everything myself, so you may have to wait for your order, but this ensures that all items are made to the same high standard.
